I knew early on that life is sorrowful. We all decline, slowly or quickly, and we die. We can’t change that. But we can change our attitude toward it. We each have only a limited amount of time here. We have to do more with it - pay attention, explore, be open to all of life. Because we have only one chance, we have to make life seem longer than it really is.

As I walk this fine line, troubled and weary, where is my strength? The ache of my heart weighs me down, but I will not give up, I will not stop. My journey is my own, and my life is before me. Even if I have to follow this path alone, it is my path, it is my own.

The days are fleeting, these moments fly by without so much as a “Hi, how are you today?”. Where do they all go in such a hurry? Am I that bad of company? They all scurry past me like white rabbits with pocket watches, where must they be that they are so late? Can they not stay and have a cup of tea with me? I may be mad, but I sure do want to cherish every moment that I have, because each moment is a miracle.
